Beautiful, Affordable Space for Rent

Thank you for your interest in using space at the Eliot Church for your concert, reception, wedding, meeting, or other event.

We are located at 474 Centre Street in Newton, within two blocks from Exit 17 off the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90). Our beautiful church building is wheelchair accessible and has an elevator connecting the upper and lower levels. The church has 12 large round tables and 120 folding chairs available for use with your rental.

Sanctuary

Our place of worship seats about 400 people and is equipped with a loudspeaker system, a Mason and Hamlin grand piano, and a tracker action Bozeman organ. The Sanctuary is available for weddings and musical performances.

An Event Coordinator is required for all concerts. Fees are based on duration of rental. If additional services are required, they can be arranged for a cost of $25 for each additional hour. Add Reception in the Chapel for an additional $100 an hour.*

Insurance

All rentals require a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming Eliot the Certificate Holder.

Parlor

The parlor can seat 49 people in chairs or 30 at tables. There is a small kitchenette adjoining, with a sink, microwave, small stove, under-counter refrigerator, and coffeemaker. It is on the upper level.

Sexton Services

$25 per hour
Special sexton services can be negotiated

Insurance

All rentals require a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming Eliot the Certificate Holder.

Chapel

The chapel is an open space, can seat 75 persons in chairs or 40 people at round tables. It has a small grand piano and a PA system. It is on the upper level.

Fellowship Hall

The Hall can accommodate 106 persons at tables, or 227 in chairs, 319 standing, and offers an adjoining full-service kitchen.

Rental Rate

$130 per hour.
$200 for a three-hour block event. Each additional hour: $60.
